Evidence over guessing
The Science of Reading is a massive body of research explaining how reading develops. It replaces outdated guessing strategies with a proven path built on phonics and phonemic awareness.
Whether your child is building early reading skills or ready to reach new heights, Bright Path Literacy offers structured, one-on-one virtual tutoring grounded in the Science of Reading. Sessions are available evenings, after school, and on weekends so learning fits your family's schedule. Research consistently shows that high-quality virtual tutoring produces learning gains comparable to in-person instruction for elementary-age students, and our focused 30-minute format is designed to keep young learners engaged.
Reading success does not come from guessing. It comes from giving children clear, direct instruction that matches how the brain actually learns to read.

In Bright Path sessions, children work with the building blocks of language. They hear sounds, map them to letters, blend them together, and practice each step until clarity replaces frustration.
Kindergarten through 3rd grade is the most important window for literacy growth. Building a strong foundation now helps children move into upper grades with confidence instead of catching up later.

“My daughter was already reading at grade level, but we wanted to give her an extra edge. After working with Robin, she's more confident sounding out new words and actually choosing to read for fun. We couldn't be happier.”

“Our son was getting frustrated every night during reading time and starting to shut down. Robin met him right where he was and made it feel safe to try again. The change in his confidence has been night and day.”

During your child's first session, Robin conducts a structured literacy assessment to understand their current strengths and areas for growth.
Robin designs an individualized instruction plan based on your child's assessment results, tailored to their specific needs and goals.
Structured, evidence-based, and engaging lessons begin on a regular schedule — whether once a week or multiple times a week — building skills progressively.
After every session, families receive clear updates about what was taught, what improved, and what to reinforce at home.
